For pure pull-request automation from a chat tool, Roomote is purpose-built and its flow — sandbox, tests, screenshot, PR — is more specialised than ours. SynthHires is broader: the same agent platform handles research, documents and connected-device work, and can be supervised with approval gates.
Which one is cheaper to run?
Self-hosted Roomote is free for up to 10 users but you supply the infrastructure: Postgres, Redis, a sandbox provider and a host. SynthHires has no infrastructure to run: $0 on the free tier, $9/month on the paid tier, and tokens billed by your own provider. Compare total cost of ownership, not the licence line alone.
Does SynthHires only work on code?
No. Code workspaces are one integration among several; agents also run research, document generation, media tasks and local desktop automation through MCP tools and the Bridge daemon.
